Assessment
The final mark comes from three parts: the written exam, the lab submissions and the project. The quizzes on this site are revision tools only. They do not count towards the mark.
Written exam
40%
The exam is made of open questions. There are no multiple choice questions: you write your answer and explain it. Some of the questions are drawn from the bank published on this site, so working through it is the most useful preparation.

- Some exam questions are drawn from the published bank. It is the best guide to what is expected, but it is not the whole scope of the exam.

- Questions are in English. Answers may be written in French or in English.

Lab work
20%
Each of the four labs gives rise to one submission. The four submissions carry the same weight.
